The Kaleidoscope Collection, by Karndean

By Barbra Murray Karndean has taken some of its existing wood and stone designs and created the Kaleidoscope Collection, a custom flooring program that teases the eye. Uniqueness is at the core of Kaleidoscope, which unites flooring patterns with six geometric shape options including hexagons, chevrons and cubes. Add in a splash of solid color and, voilà, a one-of-a-kind flooring design. Kaleidoscope offers flexibility if nothing else; the flooring can also consist of a singular geometric shape for a more traditional look that still turns heads. Mamava Lactation Suite, by Mamava

By Barbra Murray While public breastfeeding may be losing its taboo factor, some mothers still want the privacy, be it at the workplace, mall or any other destination away from home, and they can have it with the recently introduced Mamava Lactation Suite. Mamava’s self-contained pod takes breastfeeding and pumping out of the bathroom and into a clean, comfortable and private space. And these freestanding units are far better designed than a porta-potty. For more of 2016’s top real estate products, check out the special CPE-MHN Mid-Year 2016 issue.
