CMMA Solid Surfaces

Polyester and acrylic mix—it’s not just for 1970s-era pantsuits anymore. It’s also for designer countertops. World BMC Corp. Ltd., has introduced, CMMA Solid Surfaces, an acrylic/polyester solid surface which the company describes as the very first artificial marble material without glass fiber. It looks like genuine marble, but unlike the coveted stone, the CMMA Solid Surface is nonporous, so red wine spills during the annual holiday party or other celebratory events can be just a memory with one wipe. The surface is also fire-resistant, impact-resistant, environmentally friendly and, most notably, priced 40 to 50 percent less than solid marble. CMMA Solid Surfaces come in a variety of colors for kitchen and bath uses.
