Lexington Realty Buys $53M Portfolio of Vet Offices
Lexington Realty Trust has bought a pack of 10 clinics operated by BluePearl Veterinary Partners, the nation’s leading 24-hour emergency pet care provider, for $53 million.
Economy Watch: Jobs Created Across Economic Sectors; Income, Federal Deficit Drop
A number of major sectors of the economy created jobs in November. Personal income decreased 0.1 percent in October compared with September. And the federal government ran a budget deficit of $231 billion for the first two months of fiscal year 2014 – October and November of this year – which was $61 billion less than the shortfall recorded in October and November of 2012.

OPRS Breaks Ground on $30M Addition to Seniors Community
Westminster-Thurber, one of 11 retirement communities owned and managed by the Ohio Presbyterian Retirement Services, has been serving Central Ohio for the last 48 years. Now, the community plans to expand with a new high-rise, its second just north of Downtown Columbus. It held a ground breaking ceremony for the project on December 4, on the Westminster-Thurber Community Campus, at 717 Neil Avenue.
