Harwood to Break Ground on Class AA Uptown Tower

Global real estate developer and investor Harwood International plans to break ground on Frost Tower, a 22-story build-to-suit office project in Uptown Dallas. The naming tenant, Frost Bank, is Texas’ premier banking, investments and insurance company with more than $21 billion in assets.

Washington Post HQ to Be Sold for $159M to Carr Properties

The Washington Post, the most widely circulated newspaper published in the District, changed its owner this year and it seems it’s getting ready to also change its location. Graham Holdings, the daily newspaper’s former owner, has recently announced it will sell the headquarters building in downtown Washington, D.C. to Carr Properties, a local real estate investment company.

Meadow Ridge Apartments, a mixed-income apartment complex is currently under construction in Waukesha. According to BizTimes, U.S. Bank, MSP Real Estate, Inc. and nonprofit Movin’ Out have obtained $7.2 million in federal Low-Income Housing Tax Credit equity to finance the $10.9 million project. The grant was awarded by the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority (WHEDA) in April.
