TransPerfect has opened a new office property in Bucharest serving as a technology R&D hub working on the company’s GlobalLink translation management technology. This marks the company’s first office to open in Romania.

The opening comes after the company signed a 15-year lease for 123,516 square feet of office space in Global Holdings Management Group’s Nomad Tower at 1250 Broadway in Manhattan’s Midtown South submarket.

Located at 5 Nicolae Iorga St., the property will serve as a tech incubator fostering innovative and creative ideas designed to help clients improve their ability to launch and manage content in multiple languages. The office building provides convenient access to the city’s old town and to various dining, shopping and entertainment venues including Nicolae Iorga Park, Ion IC Bratianu Park, The Wine Bistro, Presto Pizza and Bucharest Polytechnic University Museum. Additionally, Otopeni-Henri Coanda Airport is roughly 9.7 miles away.
