Days after welcoming home décor provider At Home to Cleveland-area Erie Commons, ShopOne Centers REIT has secured a new tenant, this time at its Maple Hill Pavilion asset in Kalamazoo, Mich. The company signed a 23,578-square-foot lease with Old Navy, bringing the shopping mall close to full occupancy. The retailer is expected to move into the new space in early summer 2020.

The shopping center is located at 5022 W. Main St. and provides approximately 280,000 square feet of retail space. Completed in 1971, the mall was renovated in 2013, being shadow-anchored by Target and Dunham’s Sports. Other tenants include Marshalls, PetSmart, DSW and Five Below. Before welcoming Old Navy, ShopOne had Ulta and local restaurant favorite Breakfast at Tiffiny’s join the tenant mix.

Maple Hill Pavilion is located a few blocks from Western Michigan University, in an area where the daily traffic count is approximately 35,000 vehicles. The population living within a 5-mile radius reaches 110,000 and earns approximately $68,000 yearly.
