The Second Building in the World to Achieve LEED Platinum v4 Certification is One Sansome Street in San Francisco
After the recent LEED Gold certification awarded to one of the city’s best known office towers, namely 75 Hawthorne (more on that here), another major asset has been awarded with a green certificate by the United States Green Building Council. One Sansome Street is now the first building in San Francisco to achieve LEED Platinum v4 certification, the highest level of certification made available by the Council. The building is also only the second property worldwide to be awarded with v4 certification.

Invest Group Overseas (IGO), a Dubai-based development company, recently made public its plan to develop The Gate, a $700 million luxury, mixed-use project in Frisco. Entailing the company’s first project in the State of Texas, the Dubai developer is renowned for large-scale projects such as the Al Thuraia Towers or The Eight Gate near the city of Damascus.
DC’s 1800 K St. to Undergo $40M Trophy-Class Transformation
CBRE announced on Tuesday, September 16, that the office building at 1800 K Street NW will undergo a $40 million renovation. The project will turn the property into the District’s newest Trophy-class asset. Completion is scheduled for the first quarter of 2016.

Commercial Properties Realty Trust, the real estate arm of the Baton Rouge Area Foundation, continues to be active on the Baton Rouge real estate market. After breaking ground on The Onyx Residences, the newest apartment complex in the city’s downtown, last week, the company has now acquired the office building at 500 Main Street.
Redfin Expands its Services to Tucson
Redfin, a national real estate brokerage has expanded its operations to Tucson, Inside Tucson Business reported recently. The company’s services are available in Pima County, including Northwest, Northeast and Central Tucson.
