Industrial Project to Fill Unused Lot near Florida Mall

Lee & Associates arranged the sale of an undeveloped site in Orlando, where the new owner plans to erect two distribution facilities.

A 20.12-acre parcel of land in southeast Orange County traded hands recently The Central Florida office of Lee & Associates announced the sale. Co-Presidents / Principals Tom McFadden and William Bradford of Lee & Associates Central Florida spoke for the buyer McDonald Ventures XXXV LTD in the transaction. The acquisition price was not disclosed.

According to Lee & Associates, the new owner plans to build two rear-load distribution buildings totaling approximately 250,000 square feet. “The buildings should be ready for occupancy during the fourth quarter of 2016,” McFadden said in a prepared statement.

The property is strategically located at 7663 Winegard Road, off of Sand Lake Road, between Orange Blossom Trail and Orange Avenue in Orlando. Major roadways such as the Beachline Expressway stretch of Florida State Road 528, the Florida Turnpike and Interstate 4 are located within minutes from the parcel. The site is also close to the Florida Mall, Orange County Convention Center and the Orlando International Airport.
