Hartman Income REIT Management Inc. is currently reconditioning the Garden Oaks Shopping Center in Houston. Improvements include a new facade, remodeling the pad site and adding 12,000 square feet to the property.

Lifesavers 24-hour Emergency Room will occupy a 6,300-square-foot space at the property, while Dollar Tree Inc. leased the pad site totaling 4,700 square feet. Also, Aldi has secured a suite at the shopping center’s north-end and will move into the space in 2019. The three tenants will bring occupancy to 93 percent.

The exterior is slated for completion by the end of this year, when more than 8,500 square feet will be available for lease. The property provides easy access to Interstate 610 and North Shepherd Drive. Reserve at Garden Oaks Apartments and Chase Bank are located nearby, while downtown Houston is approximately 10 miles away.
