Hartman Income Names New VP
Shane Cawood brings more than 16 years of experience to the position and will gradually become responsible for the REIT’s entire property management portfolio.

Hartman Income REIT Management has selected Shane Cawood as the company’s new vice president of property management in the firm’s Houston office. Cawood will gradually transition into the role from his current position as regional director of property management. By 2019, he is expected to take over responsibility for the entire organization’s property operations portfolio.
Throughout his career, Cawood has managed a total of 13 million square feet of office, medical, retail and industrial properties. His most recent role was with Global CRE Solutions, where he served as the firm’s managing principal from 2015.
His career in commercial real estate began after more than 10 years in the U.S. Army, when Cawood joined Hines as a property manager in December 2001. Six years later, he moved to Transwestern, where he oversaw a number of office and industrial properties. In 2013, Parkway Properties hired Cawood into a senior property management role, where he remained until moving to Global CRE.
