TA Realty Lands 401 KSF Tenant in Atlanta

The recently completed facility is part of a 1,168-acre park.
TA Realty has signed a new lease at its Gillem Logistics Center, an industrial campus spread across 1,168 acres in Forest Park, Ga. Covenant Logistics Group will occupy 401,242 square feet at the industrial’s asset 909,509-square-foot Building 1100, that was purchased by the current owner in 2021, for $90.9 million. Cushman & Wakefield negotiated on behalf of the landlord.
Gillem Logistics Center is an industrial campus featuring seven completed facilities, planned to accommodate more than 8 million square feet of industrial space for distribution and e-commerce tenants. The master planned industrial asset is situated close to Interstates 675, 285 and 75, 10 miles from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and within 18 miles of downtown Atlanta.
Recently completed, Building 1100 is situated on a 61-acre lot, at 200 Metcalf Road, and has 40-foot clear heights, an ESFR system and 300 parking spots, according to CommercialEdge.

The brokerage recently made arrangements for another large industrial lease in the area. Cushman & Wakefield represented Scannell Properties in signing a new lease at its 393-acre Gardner Logistics Park in Locust Grove, Ga. The future tenant will occupy some 1 million square feet at the logistics park’s Phase III Building 1, an under-construction facility.
