One World Trade Center will welcome a new tenant to its 62nd and 63rd floors. The Stagwell Group, an investment advisory company, signed a 13-year lease for 83,955 square feet of office space, as it plans to integrate its portfolio of companies into one location.

Increasing occupancy

The lease agreement was signed between The Stagwell Group, The Durst Org. and The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. JLL managing directors Michael Berg and Howard Hersch together with Associate Doug Kauffman represented the tenant. A Cushman & Wakefield team of brokers led by Executive Vice Chairman Tara Stacom closed the transaction on behalf of the landlord. The Durst Org. was also represented by Eric Engelhardt, one of its senior managing directors.

The Stagwell Group portfolio of companies consists of Harris Insights & Analytics, a public opinion research firm; PMX Agency, a provider of marketing services; creative digital firm Code and Theory; strategic communications firm SKDKnickerbocker; and National Research Group, an entertainment research firm.

One World Trade Center, which has recently opened One World Commons on the 64th floor, boasts a 75 percent occupancy rate, which brings the amount of leased space to 160,000 square feet.
