Skanska will invest approximately $28.5 million in the second phase of Nowy Rynek, a mixed-use project in western Poland. The upcoming six-story, 129,000-square-foot office building in PoznaƄ, will feature two levels of underground parking.

Nowy Rynek is located on the premises of the former PKS bus station in the central business district, offering easy access to multiple public transportation options. When completed, the project will include five adjacent buildings totaling more than 1 million square feet of space. JEMS Architekci created the concept of Nowy Rynek and worked with the Maćków Pracownia Projektowa WrocƂaw studio on the first phase of the project.

Skanska broke ground last month on the second building, which is being developed to meet LEED Gold standards. The project is scheduled for completion in the third quarter of 2019.
