Skanska Expands DC Team

Skanska announced the promotion of Brad Mason to director, real estate development, as well as the hiring of Markus Dangré as director, real estate development, and Jennifer Tatum as director, leasing. They will all be part of the company’s Washington, D.C., team.

Brad Mason

Brad Mason, who joined Skanska in 2014 as a senior manager of development, will oversee development operations at the company’s 2112 Pennsylvania Ave. project. Most recently, Mason worked as development manager for Washington REIT and as senior project manager for Orr Partners LLC. He has more than 15 years of real estate experience, including site acquisition, site planning, development, management and disposition of income producing properties. Mason holds a bachelor of science degree in housing and urban development/urban planning and a master of science degree in construction management form Arizona State University.

Markus Dangré

Markus Dangré is coming over from Stockholm, where he worked as project manager for Skanska Commercial Development in the Nordic region. In this new position, he will be responsible for new land pursuits and will support ongoing developments. With training in both economics and civil engineering, Dangré holds a bachelor of arts degree in economics from Stockholm University and a master of science degree from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology. He has more than 10 years of experience in the field and, prior to joining Skanska, worked as project engineer for NCC.

Jennifer Tatum

Jennifer Tatum has 12 years of experience in leasing and has worked as director for Newmark Grubb Knight Frank and as tenant representative for CBRE. A LEED accredited professional, she has handled over a dozen green leases, including the lease of USGBC headquarters in D.C. Tatum is a member of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) and she earned a real estate license from District of Columbia and Board of Realtors. In 2012, she won the Washington Business Journal’s Best Real Estate Deal/Lease Deal of the Year and CREW D.C.’s Transaction of the Year. She owns a bachelor of arts degree in economics and history from Furman University.
