Venture X to Open Flex Office in Atlanta

Venture X will open a 22,218-square-foot flex office space at 1180 W Peachtree St. NW, housed in PGIM Real Estate’s Regions Plaza, in Atlanta. The space is currently under construction and is scheduled for completion in December of this year. Priddy Spaces will be in charge of day-to-day operations.

The future coworking space will occupy the entire third floor at the 24-story Regions Plaza. Upon completion, the flex location will include 70 private offices, eight dedicated desks and three meeting rooms with training and meeting features that will house up to 24 individuals.

Last month, Venture X announced the future opening of another coworking office in the Southeast region. The provider will add a 20,000-square-foot flex location in Pompano Beach, Fla., at Grover Corlew’s Mayla Pompano. Priddy Spaces will manage the location, which will stretch across three floors.

Venture X has two more coworking offices in Atlanta, at 1100 Circle 75 Parkway and at 5155 Peachtree Parkway, 10 and 20 miles outside of the downtown area. In the Southeastern region, the firm operates 20 other flex spaces, including in Miami, Tampa, Fla., Orlando, Fla., Columbia, S.C., Charlotte, N.C. and Durham, N.C.

Midtown Atlanta’s first LEED Gold certification

The 501,184-square-foot Regions Plaza has been under PGIM Real Estate’s ownership since 2017, when the company paid $176 million, or $351 per square foot, to CP Group to acquire it, according to Yardi Matrix information.

The office building came online in 2001 at 1190 W. Peachtree St. NW. In 2010, Regions Plaza became the first building in Midtown Atlanta to receive a LEED Gold certification. Since then, the property has achieved LEED Platinum certification. The tenant roster includes Regions Bank, which leases 100,900 square feet at the high-rise, as well as Holland & Knight, SalesLoft, Alston & Bird, Miller & Martin and King & Spalding.

The office building is just off U.S. Route 19 and in proximity to interstates 75 and 85, as well as the Arts Center station. Regions Plaza is within 1 mile of Piedmont Park, Woodruff Arts Center, the High Museum of Art and several eateries.
