Portland’s Pearl District is attracting a large amount of interest lately, with investors ready to move on any great opportunities. Honeymoon Hardware Lofts was recently sold by a joint venture between Seattle-based Security Properties Inc. and Lubert-Adler Partners from Philadelphia to buyer DiNapoli Capital Partners for a total fee of $37.05 million. Portland HFF representative Ira Virden led the team that handled the transaction for both parties.

Dunkirk Realty Brings Dayton’s Tallest Tower to Market

A Class A office tower in Dayton’s central business district is now up for sale. Dunkirk Realty Partners, an international commercial real estate investment firm based in Long Island, has recently retained Holliday Fenoglio Fowler to market the Kettering Tower, the city’s tallest building.

TIAA-CREF Buys D.C.’s Flats 130 at Constitution Square

TIAA-CREF has added another multifamily property to its Washington, D.C. portfolio. The national financial services organization has recently purchased the Flats 130 at Constitution Square for an undisclosed price. The seller was a joint venture between Bethesda-based StonebridgeCarras and an affiliate of Walton Street Capital, L.L.C., from Chicago.

TRT Holdings and JMI Realty, owners of the luxury Omni San Diego in the city’s downtown Ballpark District, have refinanced the existing debt on the hotel with a $140 million loan secured through HFF.
