Avison Young Adds Flexible Office Solutions Leader

Charlie Morris will report to CEO Mark Rose and work closely with CIO John Sikaitis.

Shortly after appointing a new president for its Canada division, Avison Young selected Charlie Morris to lead its flexible office solutions practice. The newly appointed executive will report directly to CEO Mark Rose and will be responsible for the platform’s national development and management, as well as its global expansion in the future. He will also work on upgrading the practice’s processes and technologies with Chief Innovation Officer John Sikaitis.

Morris brings more than 13 years of commercial real estate experience to this position. He joined Avison Young in 2014, having previously served as its principal. From 2018 to 2019, he was director of business development at LiquidSpace, a property software startup. There, he handled institutional-owner engagement and transaction management for the firm’s altSpace division.

Starting with 2013, Morris was senior vice president at Cassidy Turley.  Before that, he served as vice president of office tenant representation at Colliers, where he also started his tenure as a broker in 2006. He received a bachelor of arts degree in history from the University of Virginia.
