PM Realty Group, of Houston, has announced that it has grown its Washington, D.C., landlord agency representation staff by hiring Eduardo Trujillo as senior vice president of leasing and Andrew Gilpin as a senior leasing associate. Both men will work from PMRG’s Washington office and will work with David Parker, PMRG’s executive vice president and managing director – Northeastern Division.

“We are growing in the Washington region, acquiring more properties and working with more owners,” Parker said in a release.

Trujillo has nearly 30 years of experience in Washington’s CRE market, including senior roles with Brookfield Properties, Archon Group and Grubb & Ellis. At Brookfield, he was responsible for the oversight of eight buildings offering more than 2.4 million square feet of Class A office space. Before joining Brookfield in 2004, Trujillo worked as a national marketing director at Archon Group/Goldman, Sachs & Co.

Gilpin previously was an associate broker at CBRE, representing landlords and tenants in office leasing in the Washington area. He’s a 2013 graduate of Auburn University with a bachelor’s in business administration.

“It is evident from our discussions with institutional investors that they want a more personalized level of service,” Parker told Commercial Property Executive. “We believe now, with the federal government coming to an agreement on their budget, is an optimal time to grow.”

“We are going to exclusively focus on the core, urban area of Washington, as we have institutional relationships with European and Pacific Rim clients and major domestic pension funds, which tend to prefer invest downtown,” he added.
