Pac-12 Enterprises Leases 70,000 SF in South Market

The Pac-!2  athletic conference’s integrated media affiliate  has signed an 11-year lease for 70,000 square feet at  370 Third Street in San Francisco, the San Francisco Business Times reported. Kilroy Realty Corp., the building’s owner, acquired the 400,000-square-foot property in the city’s South Market district, formerly owned by Pacific Bell, in a $92 million deal last month.

Pac-12 Enterprises’ lease follows its recent $3 million broadcasting deal with the ESPN and Fox Sports networks. The conference is likely to expand at its new location as it plans on building a new broadcast studio as well as relocating its 150-person marketing office. Pac-12 will continue to maintain its headquarters in its current Walnut Creek location.

In other Bay Area news, MetWest Terra Hospitality, a Wyoming-based hotel operator, has acquired two hotels from the Larkspur Collection for an undisclosed price. MetWest Terra purchased The Lodge at Tiburon, a 102-key boutique hotel in Tiburon, and Toll House, a 115-room boutique hotel in Los Gatos, from Larkspur and Farallon Capital Management. The deal increases MetWest’s hospitality portfolio to 11 properties. .
