Oculus Health signed a 27,300-square-foot lease at the Las Colinas Corporate Center II in Irving, Texas. The company will relocate its headquarters from Portsmouth, N.H. The Dallas-Fort Worth office market has seen increased activity in the past year, with several large transactions and leases completed.

Located at 6363 N. State Highway 161, the 226,000-square foot asset sits at the intersection of John W. Carpenter Freeway and President George Bush Turnpike. The Class B office building offers easy access to bus stations, restaurants and hotels, including Urban Eatz, SpringHill Suites and Hyatt House Dallas. The eight-story asset, completed in 1998, features more than 800 parking spaces. The Irving office market has seen increased activity in the past year.

Growth plans

Oculus Health will keep its Portsmouth office, while the new corporate headquarters will consolidate three remote operations. Initially, 80 employees will work in the new office, as the patient care concierge firm plans to more than double the number of employees in the next year.

CBRE’s Senior Vice President Clay Vaughn and Associate Preston Lynn represented the tenant in selecting the site and negotiating the lease.

“Oculus chose Dallas because of the excellent business climate, low real estate costs and to be better positioned to rapidly expand the company,” Vaughn said in a prepared statement. “The building and space worked perfectly for them. The whole process from start to finish was about 60 days, which is very fast for a headquarters relocation.”
