New 233-Key Crowne Plaza Hotel Opens in Metro Atlanta

Crowne Plaza Atlanta SW – Peachtree City

Atlanta–InterContinental Hotels Group announced the conversion of the property at 201 Aberdeen Parkway in Peachtree City, Ga., into a new Crowne Plaza Atlanta SW-Peachtree City hotel.

The three-story Crowne Plaza boasts 233 guest rooms, including two junior suites and one presidential suite. With more than 60,000 square feet of meeting space spread across 65 rooms and one ballroom, the hotel is expected to become a primary choice for business travelers and local professionals looking to host large scale meetings and events. Prior to opening, the property will undergo a full renovation of the guest rooms and public spaces.

Guests at the hotel will experience the Crowne Plaza “Always On” enhancements that are focused on connectivity, wellness and productivity. Complimentary features include wireless internet access and wireless printing, as well as an Energy Essentials Wellness Station with healthy snacks and drinks. Additionally, the hotel offers casual cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner at the on-site restaurant.

The hotel is owned by Apsilon Management – Aberdeen Village LLC, and is managed by Apsilon Hotels LLC.

IHG recently opened the 212-key Holiday Inn hotel in downtown Houston and the 51-key InterContinental Venice – Palazzo Nani is slated to open in early 2018.
