According to a Flurry Analytics research report, U.S. consumers spend approximately five hours per day on their mobile devices. Mobile Doorman, a Chicago-based real estate tech company specializing in developing white-label apps for multifamily communities across the U.S., has tapped into that insight by making properties easily manageable through an app.

The company has recently integrated TransitScreen—which can be used for both multifamily and commercial assets—in its custom-branded software. Late last month, several qualified Chicago-properties received access to the TransitScreen GO mobile platform, which provides local, real-time information on nearby transportation choices, including bus, train, ferry, bikeshare and private shuttles.

Mobile Doorman provides the following services:

  • check-ins
  • deliveries and packages
  • maintenance requests
  • reservations
  • rent payments
  • bulletins and messages
  • surveys
  • custom-access cards and authorized entrance control

“One of our goals is to partner with like-minded companies to provide new smart solutions for our customers. Integrating TransitScreen’s offering into our product will significantly improve the overall user experience,” said Bob Matteson, founder of Mobile Doorman, in prepared remarks.

Here is a list of other gadgets and apps which improve both personal and professional spaces.
