Midwest Steel Supply Inc., a metal service center and distributor, announced that it will be moving its New Hope operations to Rogers, Minn. The company will invest  $5.2 million in a new 55,000-square-foot office and distribution space.

The new facility will double the company’s current space and will make possible the addition of 15 workers over the next three years. The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) will support the project with a $255,828 grant from the Job Creation Fund if the company meets investment and job creation commitments.

“Midwest Steel is growing rapidly thanks to increased demand for their products and services,” DEED Commissioner Shawntera Hardy said in a perapred statement. “This expansion will enable the company to respond quickly to customer needs and remain one of the top metal distributors in the country.”
