Syracuse, N.Y.—Hackman Capital Partners LLC and Calare Properties have announced the sale of the MetroWest Industrial Center in Geddes, a western suburb of Syracuse, N.Y. United Auto Supply bought the 567,800-square-foot multi-tenant property at 1200 State Fair Blvd. and renamed it Ranalli Industrial Park. Brad Ruppel of CBRE National Partners represented the seller, while Robert Krawiecki of RJK Real Estate Advisory represented the buyer.

United Auto Supply will use the high-bay portion of the facility for its auto parts distribution business, bringing the occupancy level to 100 percent, as two other long-term tenants will remain in the building. The industrial facility offers 31-foot clearance heights, extensive loading and trailer storage and a prime location with frontage at the intersection of interstates 690 and 90. The building is adjacent to CSX rail and offers low-cost municipal power serviced by the Village of Solvay.

Syracuse-based United Auto Supply, a family-owned and operated business started in 1946, manages 21 locations in New York, Ohio and Pennsylvania and employs more than 400 workers.

MetroWest Industrial Center was part of an extensive industrial portfolio totaling roughly 11.38 million square feet, acquired in 2007 by a joint venture formed by Hackman Capital Partners, Calare Properties and KBS Real Estate Investment Trust.
