McWHINNEY Buys $21M CO Mixed-Use Property

The Class A commercial building includes tenants such as Comcast, Madwire and Micro Focus. The three-story property offers convenient access to Interstate 25.

McWHINNEY has acquired 3420 E. Harmony Road, a 179,688-square-foot mixed-use property in Fort Collins, Colo., for $21 million. CBRE worked on behalf of both the seller and the buyer. Peter Kelly represented McWHINNEY, while Peter Kast together with Alex Sommerville and Chad Flynn represented the seller.

The three-story commercial building is situated adjacent to the Arapaho Bend Natural Area, providing convenient access to Interstate 25 and the Harmony Road exit. The mixed-use property is close to various dining, shopping and entertainment venues including Target, Sprouts Farmers Market, Harmony Park, Observatory Village Park and Tokyo Joe’s.

The Class A office building includes tenants such as Madwire, Micro Focus and Comcast, which leased approximately 80,000 square feet of space in the facility for its technical product and service support team.

In another recent transaction, McWHINNEY, Grand American Inc. and Sage Hospitality used a $165 million financing to refinance a construction loan for Dairy Block in Denver.
