Leopardo Delivers IL Orthopedic Center
The three-story building in Oak Brook is the result of a joint venture between Rush University Medical Center and Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush.
A joint venture between Rush University Medical Center and Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush is about to open a new orthopedic center in Oak Brook, Ill. Leopardo Cos. delivered the 100,000 square-foot, three-story medical outpatient building and surgery center in collaboration with architect CannonDesign and development manager Ankura Healthcare Real Estate.
The facility is located at 2011 York Road and is expected to accommodate 17 specialties, from primary care to neurology and endocrinology. Rush Oak Brook Orthopaedic Center includes:
- outpatient surgical suites
- clinical office space
- more than 65 exam rooms
- a full advanced imaging center
- physical and occupational therapy spaces
- operating and procedure rooms
- space for additional diagnostic and treatment services
- retail space serving building tenants
- an attached 500-space parking deck
The building will house approximately 100 employees. Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush will occupy the first floor, which consists of 16 patient exam rooms, cast room, physical therapy, occupational therapy, MRI and X-ray services. The second floor encompasses 50 patient exam rooms and seven procedure rooms, along with CT and X-ray imaging. The third floor houses an outpatient surgery center for musculoskeletal, gastrointestinal and other surgical procedures.
The center is a few miles of one of Ryan Cos.’ recently delivered 29,000 square-foot medical office development in Elmhurst, Ill.
