Balfour Beatty Wraps Phase One of Detention Center in Santee
The first phase of the Las Colinas Detention and Re-entry Facility in Santee, Ca was recently completed by developer Balfour Beatty Construction. The company had been awarded the contract to develop the $221.5 million project that would replace the old 1960s detention facility. The facility will serve as the point of intake for women inmates in San Diego County, and is being constructed on existing property owned by SDC.

Baton Rouge’s iconic Marriott hotel fronting Interstate 10, near College Drive and Corporate Boulevard, is going up for auction. The property was listed on auction.com, the largest online real estate auction firm in the country. According to the website, the starting bid is set at $7 million.

Tropicana Las Vegas – a DoubleTree by Hilton is currently undergoing major changes at its Tropicana Pavilion, with the facility being expanded for additional space. The entity recently announced that the development process is set for a March 1, 2015 completion.
