MAPCO Express Inc. has selected JLL to provide project management services for the $4.1 million renovation of its corporate headquarters in Franklin, Tenn. Construction began late last month and the project is slated for completion by September.
$4.1 Million Makeover
The Class A, six-story office building known as Five Corporate Center is located at 801 Crescent Drive. JLL Nashville’s project and development services team will oversee the planning, design and construction stages for the 30,000-square-foot facility.
MAPCO’s corporate office renovations will include upgraded A/V, modern fixtures and finishes, LED lighting, an acoustical cloud ceiling system and glass partitions. Other amenities that will complete the space’s aesthetic are a Market Café, a complimentary beverage station and a mini-convenience store.
Completed in 1999, the 159,540-square-foot property is LEED-certified and is part of the Corporate Center office park in the Cool Springs area of Nashville. According to Yardi Matrix, Stockbridge Capital Group acquired the complex for $165 million in August 2016. Located near the Cool Springs Galleria, the property provides immediate access to the I-65 South Interstate.
“Our firm has a strong history in the Franklin/Cool Springs area, having managed other corporate office renovation projects. We look forward to working closely with MAPCO to design and unveil a tremendous workspace,” said Kevin McDowell, senior vice president of JLL’s project and development services, in prepared remarks.
