“From just about every standpoint: storage, security, backup, disaster recovery and sheer performance, we are convinced the Cedar Knolls Data Center is nearly unrivaled in the Manhattan area,” said Mike Theriault, president & CEO of ITsavvy.

The data center combines world class technology and networking capacity with top-tier providers and fiber connections to ensure high-speed connectivity that is secure, powerful and reliable. Features and benefits include a new higher performance compute and new storage to boost performance for the VDI environment, upgraded servers and systems for enhanced consolidation and efficiency, redundant internet through multiple Tier 1 carriers, redundant generator and power inputs, and multi-redundant cooling and monitoring systems. The facility is 100 percent HIPAA and HITECH compliant, SSAE 16 audited, PCI DSS 3.0 compliant, Safe Harbor certified, and SOC 1.0 and 2.0 certified.

The Cedar Knolls Data Center was built using best-in-breed HPE Blade Center, Cisco UCS-B Series servers and Pure Storage all flash array for high performance coupled with an EMC SAN array storage for mainstream workloads. The facility was designed, built, and will be maintained by ITsavvy’s premier team of storage, backup, and disaster recovery personnel as well as a team of certified Citrix, Microsoft, HP and Cisco engineers. The fully-redundant architecture, made possible by a blended carrier environment, minimizes points of failure and downtime, even during power outages.

“Our single-minded goal was to make the Cedar Knolls Data Center a world-class facility—a place where our client executives are proud to bring their clients and prospects,” added Theriault.

The location was selected for its close proximity to the firm’s technical team and to the availability of smart hands if needed. ITsavvy’s data centers are strategically located across the U.S. for nearly failsafe redundancy.
