IHG to Open New Hotel Indigo in WA

The 142-key property is part of the Waterfront Place development, a 65-acre project which will include a mix of parks, housing, restaurants and docks.

An InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) property is set to open in August: Hotel Indigo Everett-Waterfront Place is a 142-key boutique hotel, part of the 65-acre Waterfront Place project. The Waterfront Place will feature a mix of parks, housing, restaurants and docks situated in Fisherman’s Harbor on Port Gardener Bay in Everett, Wash. Columbia Hospitality will manage and operate the property.

Located at 1028 13th St., the new hotel will feature more than 8,000 square feet of event space, a restaurant and bar, an indoor saline swimming pool, roughly 5,000 square feet of outdoor space and same-day dry cleaning, Additionally, the pet-friendly hotel will offer a 79-foot private yacht for up to 55 people and a grab-and-go retail shop.

Hotel Indigo Everett-Waterfront Place offers convenient access to various entertainment venues, including a 3.5-mile trail for hikes and bike rides, paddle boarding and free ferry rides to Jetty Island.

MZA Architecture designed the hotel, while Ferguson Construction was the general contractor of the project. In May, IHG announced plans to open Holiday Inn Queenstown Remarkables Park, a 182-key hotel in New Zealand.
