After opening its first Hyatt Place in Japan, Hyatt Hotels Corp. is set to open Thompson Denver, a 216-key boutique hotel, the first Thompson Hotels in the state of Colorado. T2 Hospitality is developing the property scheduled to open in 2021. DLR Group serves as the architect, while Parts + Labor with the Thompson Hotels design team designs the interiors.

Located at 1600 Market St., in LoDo, a neighborhood in the heart of Denver, the 11-story development provides convenient access to Union Station. Thompson Denver sits across the street from Continuum Partners’ proposed Market Station redevelopment of RTD’s former bus facility.

Thompson Denver will also feature 15 luxury suites, including the Thompson Suite on the seventh floor featuring an oversized terrace and a dedicated entertaining space. Upon completion, on the sixth floor, there will be available an outdoor/indoor terrace with lounge and bar with 140 seats.

Common-area amenities will include an oversized fireplace, lobby, grab-and-go café, juice bar and curated retail. Additionally, the hotel will include a 90-seat ground-floor restaurant, an all-day dining concept rotating from day to night, sunroom, courtyard, library and a whiskey room with a custom-designed pool table and fireplace.
