Having more than 30 years of experience negotiating transactions, starting companies and structuring deals, Carter previously worked for Allstate, NAI Global, The Weitzman Group, Marcus & Millichap, Regency Centers and CBRE. During his career, he closed large transactions and developments with Target, Kohl’s, Safeway, CVS Drugs and several other big clients.

He received a bachelor of arts degree in business administration from the University of North Texas. Additionally, Carter is a licensed broker-salesperson and a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and of the Collin County Board of Realtors.

“Being a Texas native and having previously worked with other firms in the arena, Michael has a finger on the pulse on the market and knows how to best position our clients for future transactions, creating yield and portfolio growth,” said Doug Banerjee, managing director, in prepared remarks.
