Greenbuild 2018 Meeting Coverage

The growing threat of climate change and the impact of the built environment on occupants' well-being were critical themes at this year's conference.

Human by Nature was the theme of the U.S. Green Building Council’ s Greenbuild 2018 held in Chicago Nov. 12-16. Developers, architects, engineers, policymakers and a wide array of service companies gathered to discuss how to make buildings healthier for occupants and safer for the environment. “Healthy places to live, work and play is a human right,” said George Bandy, Mohawk Industries’ vice president of sustainability.
