Colliers International brokered the lease of more than 100,000 square feet at the Riverside Center in Newton, Mass. The most significant deal was TechTarget’s lease extension, which will give it an almost two-decade run upon expiration. The B2B technology marketing company remains the largest tenant in the complex, occupying roughly 75,000 square feet.
Located at 275 Grove St., Riverside Center comprises 510,000 square feet of first-class office space. The site is adjacent to Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority’s Riverside Station, providing a direct connection to downtown Boston. Hines Global REIT, known for its extensive office portfolio, purchased the complex in 2013. The project was designed by Elkus Manfredi Architects and was completed in 2000. TechTarget moved into the office building in 2010, when it relocated from Needham.
“Widely recognized as a premier asset in the Route 128 Mass Pike market, Riverside Center ultimately fulfills TechTarget’s requirements for location, access to public transit, and on-site amenities, all of which aid them in attracting talented employees,” said John Carroll III, executive vice president of Colliers International, in prepared remarks.
The Colliers International Boston team that negotiated the deal also included Senior Vice President Bill Lynch, Assistant Vice President Jason Rexinis and Associate Nora Smith.
