Terreno Realty Corporation continues to add new properties to its Suburban Maryland portfolio. In a transaction which closed on May 13, the San Francisco-based company has acquired another industrial building. The purchase price was approximately $18.1 million.

A Class-A office building in Fairfax has changed hands recently. Parkway Properties sold the Fair Oaks Plaza to a newly-formed joint venture for an undisclosed price. The joint venture consists of Los Angeles-based Coretrust Capital Partners and Normandy Real Estate Partners, of Morristown, New Jersey.
Johns Hopkins to Build Cancer Center in Baltimore with $65 Million Gift
Johns Hopkins has announced on May 6 its plans to build a new cancer treatment building in Baltimore. The facility will be constructed with the help of a $65 million gift. It will be named after the late Albert P. “Skip” Viragh, Jr., a philanthropist and a former cancer patient treated at Johns Hopkins, who died in 2003, at the age of 62.
