Loomis Armored US is moving to White Marsh. The cash management and cash handling company has recently signed a lease with Hill Management Services, Inc. for 50,223 square feet of space in Baltimore County’s White Marsh Business Community.
Baltimore’s 750 East Pratt Street Recertified as LEED EB Platinum
The 18-story office building at 750 East Pratt Street has been recertified and is now the first LEED EB Platinum building in Baltimore. Hackerman Holdings, LLC and Cassidy Turley made the announcement on Tuesday, December 16. 750 East Pratt Street is also the first recertified building in Baltimore.
The Howard Hughes Corporation Buys Six Downtown Columbia Office Buildings for $130M
The Howard Hughes Corporation is expanding its Maryland portfolio. In one of the largest transactions of the year, in the Greater Baltimore area, the Dallas-based company purchased six office buildings in Downtown Columbia from General Growth Properties, Inc. The sale price was $130 million.

The Northern Kentucky city of Cold Spring is now home to a new transitional care rehabilitation and nursing facility. Carespring Health Care Management developed the $23.5 million state-of-the art complex in partnership with LTC Properties, Inc.

Archer Daniels Midland Company, a Chicago-based global food-processing and commodities-trading corporation, plans to establish an IT center in the Northern Kentucky city of Erlanger. The project will create 200 jobs.

Houston-based Lionstone Investments and London-based Hermes Real Estate have recently purchased a Class A office building in the District’s Capitol Riverfront submarket, for an undisclosed price. This is the $250 million joint venture’s first investment.
