West of Rio Rancho and north of Northern Boulevard on Encino Road, PNM’s Sandoval County Solar Energy Center was recently celebrated. At the event were present members of the county, the Rio Rancho Regional Chamber of Commerce, and the Sandoval Economic Alliance.

The mixed-income housing community Casitas de Colores, designed by Dekker/Perich/Sabatini and built in the heart of Albuquerque by Romero Rose, YES Housing Inc., and Bradbury Stamm, is a winner of the Center for Active Design: Excellence awards. The ceremony took place at the Steelcase showroom in New York on May 11, marking its fifth award and its first international award.
Dunkin’ Donuts Announces Nine New Restaurants in Albuquerque and Surrounding Areas
America’s well-loved Dunkin’ Donuts has recently announced expanding its presence in Albuquerque and the surrounding areas. The company has signed an agreement with existing franchise group NMR, LLC consisting of developing nine new retail locations: five Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants and four multi-brand restaurants with its sister-brand Baskin-Robbins, with the first one scheduled to open in the summer of 2016.

Marble Development has been chosen by the Lobo Development Corporation as the developer of the project located on the southeast corner of University Blvd. and Avenida Caesar Chavez. Negotiations on the ground lease have already begun.
