Yelp Extends, Expands Manhattan Trophy Tower Lease

The company will take up more than 191,000 square feet at 11 Madison Ave. The 29-story building currently serves as the North American base of Credit Suisse and the U.S. headquarters of SONY.

Yelp has extended its Midtown Manhattan lease with SL Green Realty Corp., signing a 39,656-square-foot, 7-year expansion. The firm will occupy a total of 191,797 square feet of office space on the building’s entire 14th and 16th floors and on part of the 17th floor.  

The 29-story building is located at 11 Madison Ave. and encompasses 2.3 million square feet of space, taking up an entire city block. Amenities include oversize floor plates, a rooftop garden, terraces overlooking the city, a full-service cafeteria, a barbershop and the world-renowned Eleven Madison Park restaurant.

The asset is adjacent to Madison Square Park, just minutes away from retailers, restaurants and cultural landmarks. Three nearby subway stations facilitate transportation.

No vacancy

Yelp’s lease brings the building to full occupancy. Other notable tenants include Credit Suisse, Sony Corporation of America and the William Morris Agency.

CBRE Vice Chairman Scott Gamber facilitated the lease transaction on behalf of the tenant, while SL Green’s Vice Presidents David Kaufman and Natasha Brown represented the landlord.
