Yardi Acquires Public Housing Management Software Developer VisualHOMES

Santa Barbara, Calif.–Yardi Systems has acquired VisualHOMES, a Silver Spring, Md.-based company that provides software solutions for public housing authorities that manage low-income housing in North America. VisualHOMES has developed more than 20 housing management and financial accounting software modules.

This latest acquisition combines the public housing technology expertise of VisualHOMES with Yardi’s browser-based Yardi Voyager PHA solution for subsidized housing.

“Clients of both companies will benefit from the combination of these industry leaders’ public housing software and domain knowledge,” says Anant Yardi, president of Yardi Systems. “We look forward to leveraging our strengths into solutions that help public housing authorities place low-income tenants into safe, compliant and affordable homes.”
