The hospitality appeal of the Middle East has skyrocketed during recent years, and investors still have room to grow, with recent announcements expanding the number of major facilities present in the region. The latest hotel operator to announce its presence in the area, specifically the bustling city of Dubai, is the Wyndham Hotel Group, currently the world’s largest hotel company.

Wyndham currently operates a whopping 7,410 hotels across the world and has now signed a new facility to one of its numerous brands. Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Dubai is now the first hotel to fly the banner of the company’s extended stay brand in the area.

Offering 188 suites, the facility stands at the core of the Jumeirah Beach Residence in the city of Dubai, a location that has emerged as one of the most luxurious and cosmopolitan of the past decade. The building is owned by R Hotels, part of the Ajman-based R Holding L.L.C.

The new extended-stay hotel features studio-style rooms, as well as one- and two-bedroom suites and a high-end penthouse featuring panoramic views of the sea and the Marina. In-room kitchenettes, all-day dining restaurant with inside and outside seating options, a coffee shop and 24-hour room service are all part of the package at the new Hawthorn Suites. The guest amenity package also includes high speed internet access, an outdoor swimming pool, male and female spa facilities, fitness center and meeting space. The hotel also provides free parking for its guests.

As it is now part of the Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham, the facility will offer its signature Wyndham Rewards service. Guests staying at the hotel can earn points through WHG’s free-to-join loyalty program, points that can later be converted into free hotel stays and air travel, as well as gift cards from a wide number of upscale retailers and dining spots.
