Woodmont Hires New Senior VP
With more than 20 years of retail real estate experience, Geddis is charged with overseeing and growing leasing for Woodmont's outlet center developments.
Fort Worth, Texas—The Woodmont Co., a national retail real estate company specializing in brokerage, development, investment and property management, has hired John Geddis as senior vice president of brokerage services. Formerly the director of real estate and store development for Pendleton Woolen Mills, Geddis oversaw development aspects for the company’s 50 owned retail and outlet locations.

“John’s multi-faceted background in retail operations, leasing and development make him the perfect leadership addition to our outlet center leasing,” Stephen Coslik, chairman & CEO of The Woodmont Co., said in prepared remarks.
Geddis will be in charge of leasing the firm’s growing outlet shopping center portfolio, including a third-party owned outlet center and planned outlet center developments. “We are projecting tremendous growth with outlet centers, not only with our company but in the overall retail industry in both development and management opportunities,” added Coslik.
Over his 20-year real estate career, Geddis has also served as senior executive for Simon Property Group, General Growth Properties, Brooks Brothers and Samsonite. Geddis is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
