WinTech Introduces Reception Software Upgrade

The updated version of ALICE Receptionist provides computerized methods for securely managing building guests, including Fast Track check-in and ID scanning.

WinTech LLC—a technology company focused on helping organizations improve productivity and efficiency—has launched the new 4x version of ALICE Receptionist, a visitor- and safety-management solution. The software provides computerized methods for securely managing building guests, while the update has introduced the following features:

  • Fast Track check-in
  • driver’s license scanning and validation
  • screening of visitors against various databases
  • visitor registration
  • employee alerts and interactive information
  • motion detection
  • ID scanning
  • Voice and video capture

“While previous editions of ALICE Receptionist included visitor check-in functionality, the 4x release introduces features that are a direct result of security concerns that managers of corporate and government buildings are struggling to address,” said WinTech CEO Mike Yoder. “ALICE Receptionist 4x allows organizations to implement a more rigorous visitor policy to automate the validation of the visitors and notify employees when a visitor who’s checking in is found on a specific screening database.”
