WeWork Expands Coworking Partner Network in North America
The global flex space provider is adding more than 1,000 third-party locations in the U.S. and Canada.
Nearly one year after launching its Coworking Partner Network, global flexible space provider WeWork is expanding the third-party affiliate program by adding more than 1,000 locations across the U.S. and Canada, where members can book office space where and when needed.

The locations, operated by a third-party partner network of more than 600 national, regional and specialty coworking operators, will provide members access to a range of amenity-rich workspaces in more than 500 U.S. and Canadian markets. The benefit will currently be available to WeWork’s large enterprise members through their bespoke WeWork Workplace technology. It will allow them to book an even larger range of workspaces across WeWork’s digital platforms, including the WeWork app.
“We’re excited to facilitate WeWork’s network by expanding access to high quality operators like Expansive Workspaces and Pacific Workspaces, all of whom allow corporate employees to access space where they want it, when they need it,” Will Sandford, Yardi’s director of coworking, told Commercial Property Executive. “

John Santora, WeWork CEO, said in prepared remarks the expansion of the Coworking Partner Network reflects the firm’s ongoing commitment to provide services to businesses regardless of location. Likening it to an “easy button,” he said the network enables users to customize their real estate solutions so they can effectively and efficiently deliver their services. The network also allows WeWork to tap into partners’ localized expertise and existing infrastructure.
Last year’s network launch
The network launched in October 2024, about six months after WeWork emerged from bankruptcy. Yardi assumed a 60 percent ownership stake in WeWork that spring after the company contributed $337 million of a needed $450 million bankruptcy exit. The company shed 170 locations as part of the bankruptcy. WeWork currently has more than 600 locations spanning 45 million square feet worldwide, serving more than 500,000 members from emerging startups to Fortune 100 companies.
The initial partnership was with Vast Coworking Group, a franchiser that operates more than 190 locations across 31 states and 10 Canadian cities that were managed under Yardi’s Kube coworking software. Users of WeWork Workplace, the company’s proprietary space management software, were able to access 75 Vast locations in 50 markets through the app.
“The first year of the affiliate program has been an important proof point for how large enterprises use coworking. The booking patterns indicate that they book known brands where WeWork does not have a location and engage with the best-in-class local operators where there are no regional or national brands,” Sandford told CPE. “It takes time to change learned booking behaviors, but as enterprise employees have engaged with new coworking locations, the expanded network has proven to be a great fit for flexible work needs.”
WeWork adds urban locations
The network expansion comes as WeWork continues to fortify its financial foundation, streamline operations and enhance broker and landlord relationships worldwide. The company is also investing more than $80 million in capital investments across its portfolio this year.
This summer WeWork signed two leases for space in Manhattan. In August, the company inked a 55,000-square-foot deal for four floors at 245 Fifth Ave. The location is expected to open in mid-2026. The space will include dedicated private offices, meeting rooms and a coworking lounge.
In July, WeWork signed a lease for 60,000 square feet at 250 Broadway in Manhattan’s Financial District. The location is slated to open by December and will include a coworking lounge, collaborative meeting rooms, private offices, a wellness room and mother’s room.
WeWork also opened a 45,000-square-foot location at Pontegadea’s 1.2 million-square-foot Southeast Financial Center in Miami in May. It was the company’s first new location in Miami since 2019. The deal covers two floors where WeWork has several communal work areas, meeting rooms and private offices.
