Veeam Software Expands Atlanta Office Footprint

The company now occupies 51,000 square feet within Northwinds II, a six-story office building in Alpharetta.

AtlantaVeeam Software, a privately held information technology company that develops backup, disaster recovery and virtualization management software, has signed a 4,000-square-foot lease expansion at Northwinds II in Alpharetta, Ga. The company has also renewed its existing 47,000-square-foot lease at the site, and now occupies a total of 51,000 square feet in the building.

“This area is the perfect location for Veeam Software’s continued growth and success. With incomparable accessibility to GA 400 and its expansive mixed-use setting, Northwinds Office Park is the one of the most sought-after office campuses to grow and expand a business in North Fulton,” Michael Howell, senior vice president with Lincoln Property Co. Southeast, said in prepared remarks.

Located at 2520 Northwinds Parkway, the six-story, 146,972-square-foot office asset is situated within Northwinds Office Park, a 258-acre mixed-use development that includes two hotels, four banks, nine restaurants, two recently renovated fitness centers, a daycare/learning facility and six free conference and training facilities. The mid-rise building with first-floor retail has floor plates of 24,495 square feet and is owned by The Brookdale Group, according to Yardi Matrix.

Michael Howell and Hunter Henritze, senior vice presidents with Lincoln Property Co. Southeast, represented the landlord in the transaction. Ellen Stern of CBRE represented the tenant.
