Thomas Drought Joins Steiner & Associates as EVP

Thomas Drought, Steiner & Associates

Columbus, Ohio—Thomas Drought has joined Steiner & Associates as executive vice president of advisory services. In this role, Drought will lead the company’s third-party leasing and management services for developers, investors, municipalities and owners of retail, mixed-use, residential and entertainment environments.

Most recently, during his nearly 20-year tenure with WP Glimcher, Drought served as executive vice president & director of leasing. The publicly traded real estate investment trust has assets totaling approximately 70 million square feet.

“His track record for strategy development, creativity and value creation is outstanding.  We saw his experience and expertise as invaluable as we continue to grow our comprehensive third-party business and national relationships,” said Yaromir Steiner, chairman & CEO of Steiner & Associates, in a prepared statement.

Drought received a B.A. in business administration from Southern Methodist University.  He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, holding several certifications from ICSC.
