The Rockefeller Group Promotes Jonathan Bersch

Jonathan Bersch of the New York City-based Rockefeller Group has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Design and Construction. Until now, Bersch served as Vice President of Design and Construction and was responsible for Core Holdings projects in New York City, including 1221 and 1271 Avenue of the Americas in the Rockefeller Center.

In his new position, Bersch will lead a team of ten design and construction professionals that will oversee a variety of projects, including a top-to-bottom renovation of 1271 Avenue of the Americas—the Time-Life Building—in New York; the development of more than 3 million square feet of office, retail, residential and industrial space across the nation; and the development of the company’s 254-unit luxury apartment community in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Prior to joining The Rockefeller Group, Bersch served as Program Manager for Bridgewater Associates and as Vice President responsible for corporate real estate project controls at Goldman Sachs. His previous work also includes positions with Tishman Speyer, Bank of America, Metlife and Tishman Construction.

Bersch holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Clark University and an MBA from Seton Hall University.
