Philadelphia—Following a leasing agreement arranged by CBRE, the Haverford branch of The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia has moved to a new location. The practice opened to the general public last week. The leasing process was headed by CBRE representatives Rick Weinberg and Jim Creed on behalf of the landlord.

Located at 663 W. Lancaster Ave. in Haverford, the former Foodstore Grocery is now operating as the CHOP’s new location. Previously, the community practice was located at 600 Haverford Road. According to CBRE Senior Vice President Rick Weinberg, the positioning of the new location offers the hospital a Main Line location, while the landlord can profit from a tenant that will be “recognized as a good corporate neighbor.”

Offering a total of 13,458 square feet of space, the building is situated in the vicinity of abundant off-street parking. “This move for CHOP is another example of the medical community continuing to raise its profile in the suburbs with retail-type sites outside of a Center City campus,” Weinberg also noted.
