The Avery Georgetown Hotel in Historic Washington Area Set to Open Spring 2016

Washington, D.C.—East Village is ready to welcome the Avery Georgetown, a locally owned and operated 15-key luxury boutique inn located just across Rock Creek from the Capital’s Downtown. The hotel, owned by Justin Schneck, former Thayer Lodging Group executive, will be ready for guests starting March 2016.

Thought out as an oasis from D.C.’s epicenter, the property sitting at 2616 P St. in historical Georgetown is within walking distance from the Dupont Circle and Foggy Bottom metro stations, the Georgetown Waterfront, Kennedy Center and Embassy Row. The Avery is also strategically located close to both Georgetown University and the George Washington University. The inn’s central Georgetown position allows guest to easily walk to the historic neighborhood’s fine dining and retail outlets as well.

Formerly operating as a law office, the space was completely transformed into 15 guestrooms and suites that offer stylish decorations and a sophisticated design, highlighting artful visual details. The luxury boutique also features a lobby bar and a classic courtyard.
