Cousins Properties Inc. signed Planview to a 10-year lease at Research Park V, the final component of a five-building office complex that Cousins is developing. Planview, a global technology company based in Austin, will take 52,624 square feet and is the first tenant at the 172,854-square-foot Class A building.

“Being a world-leading technology company, Planview is a wonderful addition to the Research Park complex and we look forward to a long and successful relationship,” said Larry Gellerstedt, Cousins’ president & CEO, in a statement.

Cushman & Wakefield/Oxford Commercial’s Ted Doucet and Spencer Hayes represented Planview, while Rachel Coulter and Kevin Kimbrough with Jones Lang LaSalle Brokerage Inc. represented Cousins.

“It is a top priority for us as a talent-driven, fast-growing company to invest in the work environment and create room for further, long-term growth. Cousins has been a great partner in identifying a location and supporting a significant build-out that will provide a cutting-edge employee experience and accommodate our future growth,” said Vic Chynoweth, Planview’s CFO.

Research Park V is projected for delivery the first quarter of 2016. Including the Planview deal, the property is 30 percent leased.
