Tavistock Development Co. has partnered with McCraney Property Co. to expand its Infinity Park project, a mixed-use business park in Orlando, Fla. The partners will work to develop distribution logistics facilities, which will join the property’s offering of retail, hospitality and office.

“Market demands for a variety of uses at Infinity Park’s ideal location makes this partnership with McCraney a natural progression for this project,” Rasesh Thakkar, senior managing director at Tavistock Group, said in a prepared statement.

Development plan

Located on John Young Parkway, north of State Route 528, the 206-acre property will comprise 50,000 square feet of retail, up to 500,000 square feet of commercial office building space for built-to-suit and prelease and a 120-key hotel. Construction of the logistic facilities is set to begin by the end of 2018 and upon completion will total more than 1.3 million square feet.

Infinity Park provides convenient access to top employers such as Lockheed Martin, Universal Studios, Darden Restaurants and Starwood. The property is 3 miles from the Orange County Convention Center and Orlando theme parks, 8 miles from Orlando International Airport and 10 miles from downtown. The campus is served by three separate and distinct power sub-stations.

“The timing is right for development at the best located, undeveloped mixed-use location in the Metro Orlando MSA,” said Steven McCraney, president & CEO of McCraney Property Co., in prepared remarks. “At a time when the need for e-commerce and logistics space is driving demand, we are pleased to be partnering with the Tavistock team, collectively focused on the bringing this expansive project to fruition.”

In 2017, Infinity Park welcomed Orange Lake Resorts to an existing 113,000-square-foot office building and an adjacent 125,000-square-foot office property under construction for its new corporate campus. Once that is completed by the end of this year, the two assets will total more than 238,000 square feet for nearly 2,100 employees.

CBRE’s Senior Vice President David Murphy and Senior Associate Monica Wonus will handle leasing for the distribution and logistics portion of Infinity Park. Tavistock’s Directors John Pottinger and Scott Bell are handling the retail, hospitality and office portions.
